We re-coat chimney crowns
The masonry top of your chimney often crumbles, and cracks. We can prevent major expensive problems by re-coating your chimneys crown with a rubberized coating.
Re-point the joints
Often masonry chimneys have battled the weather for many years, and the masonry between the bricks starts to come loose, and fall out. If we catch this in time we can re-point the joints.
Seal them out
Brick, and masonry permiate water this causes many problems including leaking in your home, and destroying your bricks. This is very expensive to repair once the damage is done. So we can protect your chimney with a clear concrete sealer that will keep the water out.
Metal flashing
Did you know that most all roofs leak around the flashings. The chimney has just such a flashing at the bottom where it meets the roof if this flashing get s even the smallest hole in it you can get a very major leak that can also cause expensive damages. We can install a ruberized underlayment around your chimney. This will keep the water out even if we never put on the flashing. Then we install new metal step flashing on the sides of your chimney, and new counterflashing.
